Product Introduction

The PFA2000 Flue Gas Acid Dew Point and SO₃ Monitor adopts a direct measurement method, featuring flange-mounted installation with a direct-insertion sensor. Its sampling system includes a temperature control device, a filtration device, and a suction device to ensure the flue gas concentration around the sensor. The probe exterior undergoes special anti-corrosion treatment, enabling resistance to high temperatures and sulfuric acid, which prevents corrosion of components by flue gas components and ensures measurement reliability and long-term stability.

Technical Overview

It employs a chemical method, utilizing chemical adsorption of special composite materials to detect acid dew point values and SO₃ concentration. SO₃ at different concentrations interacts with the composite material at specific temperatures, resulting in varying acid dew points, SO₃ absorption ratios, and capacitance values of the generated polymer complexes. The change in SO₃ concentration is determined by detecting the capacitance change of the material. When the external partial pressure is higher than the internal partial pressure, acid dew point and SO₃ molecules migrate into the composite material and are adsorbed by polar molecules; when the internal partial pressure exceeds the external, the polar-adsorbed acid dew point and SO₃ molecules are released, ultimately achieving internal-external pressure balance. It takes 15 seconds to reach a saturated state at 260°C after startup. Once stabilized, fluctuations are eliminated, and the displayed value corresponds to the acid dew point and SO₃ concentration. When the environment changes again, the sensor repeats the process to achieve continuous, uninterrupted measurement of the gas being tested, with no delay effect.
