Product Introduction

The PFA-16 adopts pulsed laser forward scattering technology. Based on the measurement principle (scattered light intensity is proportional to dust concentration), a collecting objective lens is arranged in the forward conical strong scattering area generated by laser irradiation on ultrafine particles. The optical signal is transmitted to the instrument's digital circuit via optical fiber, calculated and converted into a real-time dust concentration signal for transmission.

Technical Overview

The PFA-16 consists of a laser head, scattered light objective lens, optical fiber, receiving photodiode, corrosion-resistant probe rod, digital circuit, and an optional air purging device. It is mainly applicable to occasions with low dust emission concentrations, such as electrostatic precipitator outlets, bag filter outlets, and desulfurization outlets. When equipped with an additional extraction and heating device, it can be used for flue gas monitoring after ultra-clean wet dust collectors and wet desulfurization systems. The device is easy to install overall, with low requirements for straight pipe sections at the installation position. Thanks to its single-sided installation, there is no need for complex on-site light alignment and calibration. If installed in positive pressure or slight negative pressure pipelines, a purging system is required, which can use compressed air or a matching purging fan.
